Third gender women get security guard training

15 transgender women just completed the one month of security guard training organized by Blue Diamond Society, Kathmandu with the support of European Union. The aim of the training is to empower the sexual and gender minorities through capacity building program which Blue Diamond Society has been doing since its establishment. The training was concluded by distribution of certificates to trainees by constitution assembly member Sunil Babu Pant. Bandhan Security and worker Services Pvt. Ltd trained the participants who came from different parts of Nepal. In his final words to the participants, CA member Sunil Babu Pant congratulated them and said that security is not just for oneself, but it is also to others and to the country. He added, “it is the job with great responsibility”. And he wished them for their bright future. The chairperson of the Bandhan Security and worker Services Pvt. Ltd also pledged to secure placement to the good performer in the training.The possible placement areas are hotels, companies, industries, travels and tours, INGOs/NGOs, embassays & Consulate offices etc.
